Warranty Information
Defects
V Nives warrants that knives will be free from any defects in material and workmanship. Should any defects be found, V Nives will repair or replace the knife at no cost, as determined by our sole discretion.
If V Nives chooses to replace the knife, it may be replaced with the same model or one of equal value if the original item is no longer available or in production.
If your knife fails to function as designed, please email our Support Team for assistance. You must obtain a return merchandise authorization and send the knife to our specified address to receive warranty service.
If it is determined that a returned knife's issue is not the result of a defect in materials or manufacturing, it will not be accepted for warranty work. You can choose to have the knife returned to you at your expense or explore options to have the knife fixed outside of warranty coverage.
Misuse
V Nives does not cover repairs for misused knives (throwing, prying, turning screws, disassembling, etc.), abused, or intentionally damaged. Broken tips are usually the result of improper use and are not covered under warranty.
Please be advised that this warranty does not extend to any damage caused by throwing, prying, dropping, chipped edge or broken serrations, improper sharpening, rust due to neglect, or any other form of inappropriate treatment.
Disassembly of any nature will void the warranty entirely.
Missing, lost, or tampered/stripped screws are not covered under warranty; this is a maintenance issue. If you are missing any hardware, we ask that you contact our Support Team to order replacements.
Modifications
Any modifications made to the knife from its original form or assembly will also void the warranty.
Outside Repair
Any repairs performed on your knife by a source other than V Nives will void the warranty.
Knife Care
It's essential to properly care for your knife to prevent corrosion. Always dry the knife completely and wipe a light coating of oil on the blade and pivot area before storage. In the event of rust, we suggest using a fine-grade, semi-chrome polish for cleaning. And most importantly, keep the blade sharp! A sharp blade is a safe blade. Following these simple steps, you can ensure your V Nives knife remains in proper working order for years.
